The Lower Shore Table Tennis Club is a program established to enhance the opportunities for valuable and fun exercise, especially for individuals with Parkinson's disease. Exercise is therapeutic for persons with PD and may help improve and extend one's quality of life.
The Club serves an additional purpose by providing the general public with a venue to participate in a safe, healthy and fun sport that may be played year around.
It is a project conceived and organized by the Lower Shore Parkinson's Support Group, Inc. in collaboration with partners Crown Sports Center and the Rotary Club of Salisbury, Maryland; and our sponsors
The support and generousity of these two Partners, along with support from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore and several corporate and individual Sponsors, have made this project possible. Please visit our "PARTNERS & SPONSORS" and "EXERCISE THERAPY" pages to learn more.
